Cornerstone Medical Clinic is a team of health care partners that provides a longitudinal adult primary medical care in the greater Sumner area and surrounding areas that include Bonney Lake- Lake Tapps-Buckley areas, Orting, the Edgewood-North Hill-Milton corridor , Puyallup and Auburn, Washington. It is located in the heart of the quaint city of Sumner, Washington. The clinic was established on September 25,2009 and first opened its doors on February 1,2010.

A TEAM of a well trained Internal Medicine physician ( Waldo A. Dagan, MD) who has been in practice now for almost two decades , and the support of a competent and compassionate medical assistant (Sue MacDonald,MA) and a caring patient care coordinator(Patti Filand) .

Dr. Dagan is one of the rare breed of physicians who will personally care for his own patients when they are admitted at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. He has a seamless access to your personal medical record in all MultiCare Health Network of Hospitals and clinics through a state of the art electronic medical record in our office.
Electronic Medical Record:
The clinic uses a state of the art and up to date Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) that is connected to various specialists in the South Sound and the MultiCare Health Systems incuding laboratories, radiology, MultiCare Hospitals (Puyallup and Tacoma)and Urgent Care Centers . Your various health care providers have the convenience of your updated and most current medical history .Most of you have already experienced the e-Rx and also the ease of ordering blood tests and follow up appointments . We have partnered with MyOPs as our billing support {Tacoma,Wash}. We avail of the ease of electronic referral system through Clarity. Your care becomes well connected and keeps you in the loop.
A bit of Cornerstone's History:
We started transforming a then chiropractic office into what is now called the Cornerstone Medical Clinic on October 31,2009. With the timely expertise of Carasella Homes [Thank you Dan and Diana]{ Edgewood, Washington} , the ever supportive and talented architect Rolando Aquilizan { Portland,Ore.} , friends and family, Cornerstone has found its beautiful home at 1420 Main Street in the quaint town of Sumner in the valley overlooking the mighty and proud Mt. Rainier
We had hoped to create a special space built around the " patient experience" - the certerpiece of everything that we do. From knowing where patients would sit, to widening of hallways and doors for easy maneuvering of wheelchair borne patients and gurneys , neutral and soothing colors , modern natural touches , use of salvageable materials and a non-clinical atmosphere and ample parking ; we know that we have accomplished our goal basing from the comments we hear from you ..."serene", "welcoming", "beautiful", "homey","nice" "tranquil","clean"" nice people""up to date" "spa-like"."peaceful" " no long waits".etc.
